Why are the Chicago Bears so stupid?

I am the biggest Bears fan out there but come on…
we get rid of turner…after we go to the superbowl with him?
along with thomas jones…who if you haven’t noticed is a beast.
&& bernard berrain, chris harris, mushin muhammad, mike brown, cedric benson, tank johnson, marc colombo && bobby wade.
what were they thinking…
wait…they weren’t.
not ganna lie…i was proud of forte last year…&& i still like him, but thomas jones was my second favorite player, so yes i was saying we shoulda never got rid of him. i bought his jersey the day before he got traded ha ahh good times.

THEY STILL WOULD’VE SUCK EVEN IF THOSE PLAYERS HAD STAYED MY REASON FOR THAT IS THEY’RE OK TYPE OF PLAYERS NOT “FRANCHISE TYPE” OF PLAYERS
Why are the bears so stupid ? Because thats the first question on the Job application form.
its cause your in chicago
Half those players were past their prime or sucked while they were there. Berrain would have been nice to keep, but he signed as a free agent for the cash, but he really tore it up in the Super Bowl, he caught four passes for 38-yards. Thomas Jones?? I beat you weren’t saying that last year when Matt Forte was just tearing it up.
The reason they are so STUPID this year is they traded their high draft picks for that so-called worthless franchise QB! Then after that stupid move they sign him for millions to a longer contract, cuz he can beat Detroit,Cleveland & Seattle ! Then they move Hester, who’s a kick returner, to WR where he never has played, let alone in the NFL. Then that pretty much sent the snowball rolling down the hill & presto you have “The Bad News Bears” !
They learned how to organize a team from Al Davis…..
Why did my Dolphins trade Ogunleye and let Wes Welker go to the Pats.
They were talented players on a team that couldnt use them properly
“One mans trash, is another mans treasure”
a bad GM who’s forgotten how they were successful
-Cutler hasn’t been a good trade
-Bad Draft Picks
-Poor coaching
Regardless of the cost, getting Jay Cutler was a great acquisition. Like the Packers with Brett Favre, he is only the beginning of “putting the pieces together”. The other pieces are receivers, adequate running backs, a good O-line, and a hard-nosed defense.
With no salary cap on the horizon, it will be tough to get a few great players to fill the missing pieces. Right now, the Bears should be in “transition”. Lovie Smith should be retained and given 3 more years to get the team straightened out. If he can get his team to 13-3 and to a Super Bowl with Rex Grossman as QB, imagine what he can with Cutler behind center.
I think the biggest issue in the resigning part is they wanted to keep Tommie Harris and Devin Hester. Both got blockbuster deals, which eliminated much of Chicago’s salary cap. That is why they were unable to resign other players. As for Turner, no idea, that got me shaking my head as a Packer fan.
Exactly! The main problem is Jerry Angelo, their general manager. He trades all of his good players and then expects that they will get so much better, but it only ruins them! They had a superbowl team and then he went and messed it up! They need to get rid of him before they go a season without winning. By the way, the Bears are my favorite team as well so I say this as someone who cares about them.
