WEC / Collazo vs Berto / Mosely vs. Margarito Boxing vs MMA

WEC once again puts on a card few people watched but just about any MMA fan would enjoy. I talk about Mosely vs. Margarito from this past weekend and Luis Collazo vs Andre Berto from last week. Also HBO’s “shots” at MMA during those two fights and why UFC should take note. Finally The New York Times are either A corrupt or B Idiots. WEC Card Jose Aldo vs. Rolando Perez Danillo “Indio” Villefort vs. Mike Campbell Frank Gomez vs. Scott Jorgensen Urijah Faber vs. Jens Pulver Jamie Varner vs …

wrong. boxing and wrestling goes back 2000 years ago in roman empire for entertainment, usually by slaves and prisoners. Hundreds of years went by and boxing was banned for its brutality while wrestling continued.

your wrong there, mma aired in the US in the 90′s MMA goes waaay back way before that pillows on ur hands boxing sport was created.

    this video is stupid

If affliction gave De La Hoya five million just to be at their show, then we might as well kiss their company good bye.

whyteboi, I can see your aurguement on Steward, many former players/coaches really don’t add much insight and can be annoying; but I think Steward is great as a commentator but I also would love to see George Foreman a little more for these big fights.

Boxing is better and has a rich history where as ufc and mma go back to the early 90s so id have to go for Boxing all the way

i dont know, i just dont find mma that intresting, truth, would you agree with me that boxing like mma will reach its high point and severly decrease, i mean nfl and wrestling (more wrestling) are pretty controlled so they can make it exciting but it seems with MMA it will be like boxing was and just kinda fall(yes wrestling has fell as well but lets more so stick on mma)

    BOXING IS CRAP AND BORING

  11. shiftael says:

I just noticed you didn’t rate these with the points system as you do with the Wrestling ones, is it harder to do for these?

Not a gripe or anything, just a sincere question.

MMA is fun to watch and I appreciate the fighters as athletes. However, I don’t prefer it over the sweet science. Even with the corruption in the letter sanctions, boxing is still more respected.

Collazo wasn’t robbed, you could easily score all of the middle round for Berto. It was close and the third judge was an idiot for making it so one sided for Berto. Berto did win the fight despite looking horrible at certain spots of the fight.

WEC just looks too minor league to me.

  13. TSlay1974 says:

They should just move Harold from judging to play by play he would be better at this point :)

    MMA is growing!

WEC is great!, I hope to see the rematch of Brown vs Faber. The judging was terrible of the Collazo Berto fight just glad they had it right but really spit on the loser he fought better than the judges cards. All in all it was an awsome fight. Larry Merchant cracks me up when he tries to philosophize, I agree with you about Margarito, Loading up a glove is the ultimate of cheating. As for MMA vs Boxing I use to love boxing with a passion but now I am alot more of a MMA fan than boxing.

  16. EternalDeathSavior says:

    I miss George Foreman

  17. dadirrtywhyteboi says:

well what do you expect abou Merchant he is what 80 years old is very slow. With Emmanuel i completley agree that he seems very biased not a fan of him the only one i really like is Jim Lampley this is coming from someone who is getting into broadcasting so im kinda biased their but Lampley tells a story of a fight and knows his history so he does knwo what he is talking about

  18. hurricanekicka says:

i find that emmanuel can be a bit bias at times during the match. and larry merchant can take FOREVER to ask a fighter and damn question postmatch

  19. dadirrtywhyteboi says:

you are correct sir it is just that most people are already giving Cotto the win because no one knows who the fuck he is and also the people who do know a bit about him say he is not that good of a fighter

  20. dadirrtywhyteboi says:

well to me Emmanuel Steward should stick to training as he does really nothing for me a s a commentator. He is supposed to give great insight since he was a trainer and well he really does not

  21. Ghostpilot1983 says:

I saw the fight, and after 2 rounds I knew Mosley would maul Margarito. Antonio was blitzed all night and he almost looked worse than De La Hoya did vs Pacqiuo. I think the reason peole will enjoy a tailkicking as long as the other figer fights back. I’m shocked Cali’s stricter then NYC, Atlantic City, Las Vegas, or Memphis on violations. And, what do you think of Emmanuel Steward as a commentator?

  22. lesnarUFC says:

    yeeehaa

    your videos are good again:)

wrestling is gd and all but its always a gd choice to do sumthing different and mma and boxing rock

  23. hattrickhockey17 says:

lol yeah I started that back in the day, and its just always been something I have done. Keep up the great work on the videos, like I have said before, would love to talk to you sometime on MMA.

  24. TSlay1974 says:
