matt hughes overall record is 44-7, gsp is only 19-2. do you realize how long it will take gsp to reach that record…fucking forever thats how long…so if gsp wants to waste his prime away than so be it…you won’t respect bj, and i wont respect gsp because i hate vaseline cheaters!!!!!!!

Seriously, what’s the fucking point of GSP only defending the title four, five times. Of course he wants to beat the record. And who the fuck is this guy saying that Kos, Alves, and Fitch aren’t formidable opponents? This dude is the kind we laugh at in sherdog forums.

for the last time, he wants to beat Hughes record at most title defenses at WW….what the fuck cant you understand about that? Are you that dumb? Since your running down his opponents like alves, fitch, koscheck…well the what does that say about BJ Penn? Hes not a formidable opponent ACCORDING TO YOU RIGHT?? 28 is younger than all the champs who has changed divisions, so it does matter….and we all know deep down the only reason you wanna see GSP at 185 is cuz you think hes gonna lose RIGHT?

why the fuck should gsp defend his welterweight title anymore? he has already defended it many times! what the fuck is he waiting for! Besides hughes, who has gsp fought that was a formidable opponent? Alves? NO! Fitch? NO! Serra? He fucken lost to serra! As far as gsp’s age, 28, is actually not young at all. This is MMA not golf, a fighter can only go for so long, if anything gsp should move up NOW while he is still in his prime!!!! your’re fucken stupid bitch and you know nothing about life!!

well when BJ moves up and actually wins a fight in the modern MMA(not hughes 1) then he will have my respect…GSP has went on the record saying after he completes being the greatest WW of all time, in a few more title defenses so he can beat hughes who has the record, then he will move up and fight MW and do it SMART, not the wrong BJ Penn approach which we know isnt successfull…plus hes only 28, hes younger than all the champs who have moved up..whats the hurry??you wanna see him lose right?

omg i saw this on tv the other night fuckkk it was so good

bj penn has a waaay smaller body frame then gsp. if bj could fight at 187 (which he did when fighting machida as a HW), and at 170, then gsp can move up to 185. btw, who wants to see gsp fight fitch, swick or hardy?? only a small handful. he’s already cleaned out that division. its very boring if he stays there. its not even a challenge for him anymore.

BJ Penn normally used to would walk around at 178 if he wanted then he dropped 8 pounds to go welterweight. Now he’s 155 and he loses more stamina if he goes up 15 pounds in weight. Losing and gaining weight is not all black and white its more confusing and difficult than you think it is. I believe GSP wants to beat the winner of Swick vs Hardy and then Jon Fitch in a rematch then gain weight after he knows he’s the best in his weight class becuase gaining and losing weight for fights is hard.

bj penn is too small for 170, but he still moved up. even jake shields moved up to 185 from 170 in strikeforce. so please dont give me those excuses. we all know why he doesnt want to move up or down.
November 10th, 2009 at 11:55 pm
He’s too small for 185 and too big to cut to 155.
November 11th, 2009 at 12:45 am
Anderson probably, Lyoto no.
November 11th, 2009 at 1:28 am
to all the gsp fans: please answer a very simple question: WHY DOESNT GSP MOVE UP OR DOWN???
people keep saying he’s gonna move up or down, but yet its been a looong time and he’s still in the same division. whats he waiting for??
November 11th, 2009 at 1:37 am
GSP is way overrated and he was even caught cheating one round and they didnt do anything about it
November 11th, 2009 at 1:48 am
Shut the fuck up. Moving up isn’t even a big deal from lightweight to welterweight, BJ is 5′9 don’t give me that bull. Bottom line is he lost and he’s going to get knocked by Diego in a couple weeks. Lasting 4 rounds doesn’t mean shit, a loss is a loss. There are plenty of fighters that can last because they are great in a technical standpoint but are inevitably going to get beat up and lose to GSP just like BJ.
November 11th, 2009 at 2:03 am
That proves you know nothing about mma or combat sports in general. BJ Penn moved up from 155 to 170 to take on a giant GSP who is much much bigger than him.
BJ Penn lasted 4 rounds against him, please name any other lightweight who could last 4 rounds against GSP

November 11th, 2009 at 4:38 am
“fucken”
November 11th, 2009 at 5:09 am
I saw the weigh-ins for this fight. BJ Penn really needs to invest in some sort of MALE enhancement product, because he has absolutely no junk!!! Seriously, he’s got NOTHING packing!!! I almost feel bad for him…almost!
November 11th, 2009 at 5:40 am
go tell gsp to move up in weight against anderson silva, or lyoto machida, than he’ll have my respect. right now hes fighting chumps in the welterweight division. bj is a legend and isn’t scared to fight anyone at any weight division.
