During a recent photoshoot for Fighters Only Magazine, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson reminisces about his time in Japanese promotion FC. He has both happy memories (the afterparties, Sakuraba) and bad ones (two weeks notice for fights, lack of medical attention). He also credits the UFC for taking good care of its fighters medically. shit i got to see one of my favorite fighters up close, which i never thought would’ve happened. i was so fucking star struck. i couldn’t say anything. so heres him at formula drift in monroe, wa. hella down to earth. war rampage.
MMAScoops.com is reporting that former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has quit the promotion. He and UFC President Dana White had been going back and forth over the last couple of weeks due to Rampage taking the role of B.A. Baracus in the new A-Team movie, and apparently that was the straw that broke the camel’s back.
“I’m done fighting,” Jackson stated. “I’ve been getting negative reviews from the dumb ass fans that don’t pay my bills or put my kids though college. So I’m hanging it up. I’m gonna miss all my loyal fans but hopefully they’ll follow me to my new career & I will gain more loyal fans along the way.”
Rampage noted his frustrations with how he’s been dealt with by the UFC over the years and has apparently had enough.
i do not intend to copyright anything shown in the following video whether it be music or video files and i do not have ownership over any of it either please do not take my video down as i took fucking ages to make it
ok did rampage really get arrested? this is what it said on tmz.com
Former UFC light heavyweight champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson got busted just minutes ago, and is currently in custody on the way to the clink — but not before he was ordered to the ground, cops nearby with guns drawn.
Law enforcement sources tell us, Rampage was in a car crash near Newport Beach (that’s near Laguna Beach in the O.C.) and then split the scene. Cops gave chase and eventually caught up and charged him with felony hit and run and felony evading arrest.
Here’s the deal about the dumbest hit and run ever. Notice the truck he tried evading police in — the one with the giant picture of him plastered on the side!
