Such as southern snake, wing chun, and mantis. I prefer these as they are less flash and seem to be more efficient in my opinion. I read that the souther shaolin temple in fujien province was destroyed, and there is just relics of what it once was. I found no information about people actually training there.
Where would be the best place to learn these? Wing chun is easy to find, but I am especially interested in snake style.
I wanted to try a more traditional style of martial arts, yet one that can also be applied to a real fight. I don’t have much experience with kung fu so I do not know which styles would fit me best. The only styles that I do know are baguazhang and wing chun, but I don’t know if these are good. Thanks.
Again, Im looking for a more traditional one as opposed to something like boxing and krav maga.
