America’s finest will have a chance to meet some of MMA’s finest in late June because B.J. Penn, Michael Bisping, Urijah Faber and Carlos Condit are flying to Afghanistan to visit with U.S. soldiers stationed at six military bases.
“We are honored to send UFC and WEC fighters to visit the men and women of the United States Military,” UFC President Dana White says. (UFC’s parent company, Zuffa, also owns the WEC.) “We are pleased to be giving back to such a great cause; many of our fighters have served in the military and understand what a great contribution our troops are making overseas.”
“Their presence will certainly help boost the morale of the soldiers, which is so important during their duties overseas,” says Sgt. Bart Murphy of the 101st Airborne Division.

Is Fedor Emelianenko afraid of Brock Lesnar? Don’t be stupid. Of course not. Dana White speaks out loud about the real reason why Fedor Emelianenko is not fighting in the UFC. You guys should finally realize that MMA fights are not like your fights with the bullies at school. It takes a lot of work, a lot of money and a lot of political moves to make a professional fight happen. Again – I’m just stating the obvious, but there is a huge amount of childish retards that would not get it… .

In no way I am defending UFC. I am both a fan of MMA and boxing. Conversely, UFC have been putting the best fighters fight against each other and giving the fans who they want to see. Everyone knew that Ken Shamrock was shot after a brutal knockout by legendary Japanese legend Kazushi Sakuraba who was 40 pounds lighter and also about the same age. But because of Ken’s popularity, Dana still put him up against Tito Ortiz because the fans wanted to see it!
According to White, nobody wants to see Mayweather fight Marquez. Dana put on Lidell vs Couture, Lidell vs Ortiz, Penn vs GSP, Penn vs Hughes, etc. No offense, to Marquez, he is a great fighter, but nobody just gives a damn about him. He can brag about winning two fights against Pac but people do not like him nor they know him, or wanna see him fight. He is a real warrior but fans do not like to watch him, period. He never sells over 300,000 by himself! The world wants Mayweather-Pacquiao, that is what Dana White said, yet boxing wont give it to them! The world wants to watch Mayweather and Pacquiao dominate, they dont want to see Juan Manuel Marquez. Is Dana White correct on this matter or he is just a punk who hates boxing?

My brothers, check this out, I respect JMM as a fighter but unfortunately he just doesnt sell! Name me a fight outside Pac that he sold 350,000 buys? The overwhelming majority of the world wants Pac and Mayweather. Marquez is practically unknown among non-hardcore boxing fans. Facts are facts, Marquez is not a popular payperview buy nor he is known to outsold tickets in any arena. No offense to JMM fans, but that is a fact. People want to see Pac-Mayweather and boxing didnt give it to us!
For example, he seems to want B.J Penn to win, and I think this is unfair to GSP. Even though I want Penn to win, I still think Dana is being a little unfair. Sometimes.
