what the fuck are you talking about?? the people on the the ultimate fighter show are no were near world title contenders… very few of them should even be considered fighters.. the ufc champs are in incredible shape and are amazing fighters..

it would be a good fight…silva has the kicks n the grappling,,but rjj has the speed, accuracy, reflexes, n overall better athletism..this would def be an interesting fight but i think if rjj trains corectly for it n he brings his A game..it would be his nite

Yeah i see where you’re going. Forget those bums that TUF takes in. I’m talking about top contenders in the UFC. Boxers and MMA fighters have their pros and cons over each other is all I’m really saying. All i know is Roy Jones would have the upper hand in a boxing match against Silva.

Thats like saying GSP can beat Mayweather in a straight boxing match…the only advantage i see an MMA fighter having on a boxer is better cardio. Other than that, i don’t think an MMA fighter could out strike a boxer.

I think Silva has a small chance now that RJJ is old and much slower then he used to be.
But if this fight would have happened when RJJ was in his prime, RJJ would have fucked Silva up in a boxing match. To fast, to accurate, to strong, and to much punching power. Would have been a 1st round KO or whenever RJJ desided he wanted it to end, it would have depended on how long he wanted to toy with him.

Jones would most likely lose in an mma fight with Silva, but he would have a shot of winning based on the fact that Anderson Silva wouldnt go for a takedown. Silva only submits people who take him down. Roy would definitly need to stay out of the thai clinch.
