This match up was obviously fake. I mean kimbo is a 250 lb grow man. How can a small weak punch and a light kick to the thigh knock out this massive man?! Obviously this match was staged and kimbo slice made a lot of money doing it. Seth barley touched kimbo how can he knock out such a man? Review the clips people and you will see the truth, lol. It is obviously fake.

This fight was rigged but not in Seths favor. EliteXc come to find out was giving fighters huge bonuses for not taking Kimbo to the ground because they knew he’d be crushed by any real fighter down there. Seth got offered the same thing. Kimbo got caught and stunned this is mma not a street fight he wasn’t unconscious just not defending himself so the ref had to stop it. It’s a TKO. Regardless they went bankrupt right after that fight because of the controversy surrounding them rigging the fight in Kimbo’s favor.

Because he isn’t that good. If you want proof watch the new The Ultimate Fighter when it comes out. Guarantee Kimbo doesn’t win any fights.
I do have to say that although he isn’t going to be a great MMA fighter I respect the fact he is trying to do it the legit way.
It’s not “obviously” fake, and why did you think of asking this question so long after the fight?

  4. pnasty says:

It wasnt a fake, if you’d actually watch the clip, Kimbo was off balance when he got punched and that led him to the ground. What finished him was the ground N pound which he had no defense for.

  5. Anonymous says:

wow you are right! the cut is obviously fake too! they must have had a someone run in the ring so fast and put a fake cut above his eye and leave the ring before we even saw! these mma promoters are pretty slick, but me and you, we know the real deal

  6. JaY says:

The only fake is Kimbo. He didn’t fight anyone good in any of his fights. The only one who ever had cred was Tank Abbott, and he hadn’t won a fight since 2005. Kimbo can’t beat a trained fighter.

  7. Thelastn says:

You are wrong. In fact you are so wrong that I doubt you are ever right. most likely even when you are right it is all part of a greater wrongness.

  8. Enrique C says:

I think your brain is “obviously fake”
BTW, last year called, it wants it’s news back.

    KIMBO SUCKS

I posted this on the other time you asked the question…so I figured if you were going to ask the same question twice I would answer the same way twice.
Common Sense says it wasn’t fake. There are only 2 reasons for a fight to be fixed: 1) money or 2) better for the promotion.
Kimbo was the face of EliteXC. They didn’t want him to go down because he was 1 of their 2 only viable draws. Elite XC actually wanted to get into pay-per-views and needed Kimbo undefeated to do it. In fact, Seth said they offered him extra money not to take Kimbo down (where has no skills) before trying to retract the statement. Kimbo’s loss basically shut down the entire organization.
So the the fix must have been in for money right? Well, Ken Shamrock was scheduled for the fight and was injured that morning. The commission didn’t remove him from the fight until just hours before the event. EliteXC didn’t want to replace him and not carry the fight but CBS said they wouldn’t show the card without Kimbo. Elite XC had to find a replacement, be sure the AC would confirm it, and get it announced in matter of hours. Seth was not officially announced in the main event until right before the card began. Most gambling sites didn’t even post the fight because there was no time to create odds and generate interest. So he didn’t take a dive for money.
There was no reason for him to take dive. It makes no sense.
