I’m under 18.
I heard about this site on the net for porn.I went and it said that my ip address has been recorded and sent to the proper authorities.I am under 18 and i’m afraid of what can happen.
It was not any illegal porn like child porn.It was regular man on woman.
What to do?
How can i keep myself from getting busted?
What will happen?

If there was nothing illegal about the porn than you cant get into any trouble. There is no way for them to identify your age, and even if their was you would not be charged.
Nothing. It’s not illegal for adults to view porn. It’s not illegal for minors to view porn.
It’s just illegal for an adult to provide porn to a minor.
The website was a joke. Seriously, the site doesn’t know how old you are.
when you enter the site they need to ask you if your 18… did you click yes your 18? If you did its probably a joke website… to scare you…. Or maybe your parents have a parental thing set up, this would just tell your parents you went there, no kind of police action..
That website is a prank.
The police would not notify you they were coming, as that would give you the opportunity to destroy the evidence.
What they are saying there is that your IP address has been recorded. If you partake in child pornography or other illegal activities, then they can give that IP address to authorities.
However, at this time, the vast majority of people have a “dynamic” IP address which means you get a different IP address every time you connect to your ISP. This helps your security since hackers would need your IP address to keep getting on your computer and if your IP changes all the time, they can’t track you without other software.
“Static” IP addresses are more costly and generally used by businesses. While some residential customers do want a static IP, most of them don’t care and don’t want to pay extra for it.
That said, you’re going to be fine. They aren’t going to come after you, especially if you just went to the site, saw the warning, and got off the site.
