umm no, the founder of sambo learned from jigoro kano the founder of judo and basically combined that with the native wrestling arts of russia with along with some other things but judo is a big piece of the pie

sambo represents judo before judo was turned into a sport, sambo kept all the techniques that judo is not allowed to use in competition, to my understanding some judo schools teach these techniques but not alot of schools do since the popularity or focus on olympic judo.
the way some ppl play pick up basketball is just like basketbrawl because they dont know how to play proper defense lol

Agree. I wish there were more sambo schools where i live since there r alot of russians. lol, i can hear em even though im not russian. Sambo even looks more brutal since russians r toughest
Your opinion is wrong wrong WRONG since Judo is an evolution and distilation of the non-streangth based techniques of ju jitsu, and has been proven more effective. Watch the damn episode about it before spouting opinions that arn’t opinions, but just misinformation.
