How Would Wanderlei Silva Do In The Middleweight Division Of The Ufc?

He seems to small for the light heavyweight in the ufc. I think he could challenge Anderson Silva for the middleweight title.

    wanderlei silva would probably do great as a middleweight in the ufc. how forgetful are people he was the only middleweight champion in pride until henderson beat him, and henderson’s fighting for the unified title next (which he’ll win) i’d love to see a rubber match between henderson and wandy.

    He seems small for the light heavyweight division because he is only 5′10 so he especially looked small face to face with Chuck who is 6′2. Alot of the lhw guys are pretty tall.
    I think he could probably cut to middleweight.

    Wanderlei Silva is a beast and will kill alot of people if he would of used his knees, ever see the pride fight where he knocked out Rampage, watch some pride fights then say he’s too small. hes one of the best

    he’s already said he won’t move down. It’s in his latest interview on the front page of ufc.com. IF he did move down, I still doubt he’d fight Anderson. I’ve never seen any of the old chute box guys fight one another. I think he would smoke your other solid 185 guys, Mcdonald-no doubt, Tanner-no doubt, Marquart, Lutter, and Franklin.
    PRIDE middleweight division is almost the same weight as the UFC LHW division. I think Pride Middleweight is around 203 lbs or so. I don’t ever remember Wandy fighting at welterwieght in Pride which is about the same weight as UFC middleweight=185.

    wanderlei would probably do pretty good till he faces henderson like they did in pride, like ragstobi said. and jesse t is right pride middleweight was at 205 which is the LHW in ufc. if wanderlei ever did moved down to 185 i think henderson would beat him. anderson silva is from chute boxe like wanderlei, and from what i understand they don’t fight gym mates
