There are many wasy to begin the long road to becoming a prize fighter. Start small and work your way up, Begin by Boxing and getting some ring experience. Then maybe start by studying Martial Arts and other forms of Fighting. Build your skills slowly, there a number of Kick Boxing clubs that double as MMA/UFC training areas. If you have the money, Hire a coach. Look into your local Boxing Clubs, they will be able to turn you over to a trainer, and you will be fighting in No time. http://www.ufcfightnight.ca/
Good Luck Hope to read about you one day.

those of us that live in florida are extremely lucky because it has a ton of gyms that specialize in mma, bjj, muay thai, ect. you want to find a gym that has BJJ (gi and no gi), muay thai, wrestling, and that has mma fighters, some gyms will claim to be mma gyms but don’t actually have any fighters who compete in mma. depending on where you live south florida has a ton of schools, best being team nogueira, and american top team. if you have more questions message me and i can help you out on finding one depending on where you live.

First, you got to learn the moves. I am also interested in being in the UFC or other mma fight league such as Elite XC…i would search to find an academy that teaches MMA all together but sometimes they only teach a type of martial art used in the UFC…if you cannot find a place to train MMA, look for a Gracie Certified Academy, these can be found on the website:www.gracieacademy.com and click the link at the top to find a certified academy near your area…im pretty sure they have one in Miami but im not positive, i would go to the UFC website and click the link to learn UFC, they will then tell you about the different styles of fighting used in the fights. They should include: Boxing, BJJ(Brazilian jiu jitsu), Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Jiu Jutsu, Judo, Karate, kickboxing, kung fu, tae kwon do, and wrestling. If you cannot find what you’re looking for, i know that the gracieacademy.com website has DVD’s on sport jiu jitsu, and Street Jiu Jitsu…they will cost some money though, but they are totally worth the money, the street one is $120, and the sport one is $196 and it also comes with an adult GI if not the DVD’s they have an online class at http://www.gracieuniversity.com: this is totally free to join but you have to buy the lessons and they will promote you with belts when you pass some tests after the lessons. I would definately trust that the Gracie lessons and DVD’s help because the two sons that are part of the third generation that teach it (Rener and Ryron Gracie) have much experience due to their Grandfather Helio Gracie creating Gracie Jiu Jitsu and their father Rorion Gracie created the UFC. I hope this helps, good luck.

It would be better if you develop a good ground game first. Ju jit su or wrestling. If you know the basics then you can go on and focus more on your stand up. Muay Thai, Boxing, and even Karate.
The truth is you can go trough all the best training and learn all the best technique you want but that’s just half the game. The rest will depend on you and how bad you want to win.
    That’s called pride my friend.

find a local gym that offers everything.for MMA you will need to take muay thai classes,ju jitsu classes, wrestling, boxing and the works.just go sign up at a MMA gym and it will all come together from there.and the person above ufc is mainly submissions like choking and arm barring what are you talking about?

the actual wrestling is called Ju Jitsu. UFC is the league
UFC is mainy like submissions like choking and arm barring.
U are going to have to go to UFC classes and Judo, boxing, kick boxing, gymnastics is good and u know the works will help a lot.
Make sure that it is not all muscle, u have to be able to stretch for Example. Pur ur foot behind ur head. becaue if u cant stretch u cnt do submissions
    Good luck =]
