Currently, I’m 6′ and 153 pounds. I want to gain as much weight as I can. What would be the healthiest, quickest, most effective way to gain some. I work out in the gym and all I do is tone my muscles, there is no weight gain. Someone give me som good advice. Maybe someone with experience in MMA fighting that knows about going up and down weight classes. Thanks!

I ain’t no MMA fighter but I do exercise alot and have a purple belt in martial arts. I’d say if you want to naturally and effectively gain weight is start lifting heavy weights with low repitions and sets. Think of football players and how they’re usually somewhat bulky, its a true statement, little weight+high number of repititions=tone, heavy weights+fewer reps= more bulk. Also try getting on a high protein diet and increase your daily carb intake. Good luck future big man!
