I hav always been in the sport of mma, i love the ufc but i hav never ever had experience in ever doing it! iv had previous experiences from muay thai but not for long for only around 6 munths… if i were to join a mma club which i am AT 18 YEARS OLD, how long does it usually take people to turn pro…? i know everyones diffrent but what is it most likely to be?

I just don’t get it! I mean I always hear people say fighting is violent, dangerous etc.. but when it comes to mma fighting people consider it safer or a little safer than other sports! Someone help me out please this question has been on my mind all week.
I’m 16 and have been wrestling for 5 years and training in MMA for about 7 months. I’m going to continue training for another year and then I want to enter my first match. My friend who is 15 wants to train for 6 more months and then fight (he’ll still be 15). How old do you have to be? This would be in Michigan.
